Works are progressing well on a new build 45 bedroom care home at PINNER for Vivo Medical Care Ltd. The scheme was originally designed by DWA Architects, with Ward Associates Project Services providing Project Management, Employer’s Agent and Cost Consultant services. Works are anticipated to complete in early August 2017, in line with the original programme. The Project Management team have recently taken photos from on site, at the development of a brand new care home at Badminton Road, Downend, Bristol.
Project Manager at Luxury Retirement Community
Ward Management are currently acting as Project Manager, as well as the Principal Designer, during the refurbishment of a luxury retirement development in Eastbourne.
The development at Hawthorns Retirement Community consists of studio, one and two bedroom retirement apartments offering independent living. The overall project comprises the refurbishment of the ground floor communal areas and communal corridors to all four floors, as well as the installation of a new lift.
Phase 1 of the work includes the refurbishment of the ground floor communal wc facilities and installation of the new external lift. This phase is anticipated to be complete by Christmas, with further phases following on in the New Year.
Providing Project Management Services in the Development of a New Care Home
We have been providing project management services, working as an employers agent, on behalf of our client.
The project will see the development of a 76 bed care home, located on Badminton Road, Bristol.
Planning permission for this development was achieved earlier this year and the demolition and remediation is now complete with the main contractor due to start on site in the next few weeks.
Our sister Company, DWA Architects, are the appointed Architects for this project and so Ward’s Project Management team have been able to work closely with them, along with other contractors and the client to ensure the project remains on schedule.
